THE BATTLE BELONGS TO THE LORD
"Then David said to the Philistine, "You come to me with a sword, with a spear, and with a javelin. But I come to you in the name of the Lord of hosts, the God of the armies of Israel, whom you have defied. This day the Lord will deliver you into my hand, and I will strike you and take your head from you. And this day I will give the carcasses of the camp of the Philistines to the birds of the air and the wild beasts of the earth, that all the earth may know that there is a God in Israel."
In the Bible, we find a story about two men: one a great big man who didn't love God, and didn't know God, and didn't really want anything to do with God; and the other, an average sized young man who did love God, and who served God, and who wanted to do whatever God wanted Him to do.
This weekend, as we continue our study through the life of David, we'll look at the epic battle between David and Goliath and discover the lessons we can learn that will help us to face the giants in our lives.

 HOMELESS REGISTRY
FRIDAY-SUNDAY, MAY 31-JUNE 2
ERBC is excited to continue our partnership in caring for the homeless. On June 1-2, we'll be helping to conduct in-depth surveys of the homeless in Highland Park and Eagle Rock.  BLOOD DRIVE FOR MISSIONS
Give blood to benefit patients and share the love of Jesus at the same time! For each donor, Blood for Missions will donate $10 to Kenya Hope and $10 to Young Life.  FATHER'S DAY
