LAST ONE PICKED?
All of us can remember being on the playground when teams were being chosen. When the appointed captain called out the names of the teammates he was selecting, it was a given that the most athletic or the most popular would be chosen first. Those outside the inner circle would wait nervously to see which captain would finally choose them. Nothing was worse than being the last one picked.
Thankfully, God gives equal opportunity to anyone who wants to be part of His family. Acceptance isn't based on ability or popularity, but rather on what God sees in our heart.
This weekend we're continuing our study through the life of David and we'll be looking at how to respond "When You're The Last One Picked."
I hope you can join us!
