A HEART FOR GOD
If you read through the Old Testament descriptions of King David, you'll quickly realize that he was many things. He was the skinny little sheep herder who became King of Israel. He was the man whom Samuel sought and found to succeed King Saul. He was a mighty warrior, a valiant general, an inspired leader, a successful businessman, a skilled marksman, and a gifted psalm writer. But the thing that impressed God about David was his heart. God said "I have found David the son of Jesse, a man after My heart, who will carry out all My will" (Acts 13:22).
This weekend we're beginning a new teaching series that will focus on the life of David and the things in his life that caused God to praise him so highly. To kick off our series we're welcoming former ERBC Pastor C. John Steer as our special guest speaker. I hope you can join us this weekend as we look at "Developing A Heart For God."
Embracing the journey,
Pastor Rick
