TRAIN UP A CHILD...
We've all experienced it. We're at the grocery store and there's a little kid going berserk, screaming at the top of his lungs and stomping his feet. What do we typically think? "That kid's parents need a class in parenting!" Or we hear about a young person who is pursuing a rebellious lifestyle, and we figure that somewhere along the line the parents messed up. These speculations stem from the spiritual urban legend that says "A godly home guarantees godly kids."
If we accept this dangerous myth, the end result is that we can become judgmental of others, disappointed with God and disillusioned in our spiritual life.
Join us this weekend as Pastor Jordan leads us in a look at what the Bible says really about this dumb thing that smart Christians believe.

Daylight Savings Time begins this weekend. Don't forget to set your clocks forward one hour at 2AM on Sunday, March 10. We look forward to seeing you at worship on Saturday at 5:30PM (Pacific Standard Time) or Sunday morning at 9AM or 11AM (Pacific Daylight Savings Time).

 CELEBRATE RECOVERY
Lives are changing! Over 700,000 people have gone through Celebrate Recovery, a program designed to help those struggling with hurts, hang-ups, and habits by showing them the loving power of Jesus Christ through the recovery process. All 7th-12th grade guys are invited to the church for guy's night. Join us for a time of worship and the Word, as we remember the sacrifice Jesus made for us. Together we will consider the power of the cross and anticipate the glory of the resurrection.
