GOD'S "TO DO LIST" FOR US
 "He has shown you, O man, what is good; and what the LORD requires of you, but to do justice, to love kindness, and to walk humbly with your God." Micah 6:8
Did you know that there are only 39 days left until Christmas? Have you started your shopping? Have you already finished it? The holiday time is a season of lists. Santa Claus is not the only one who is making a list and checking it twice. Many of us make lists as a way of keeping track of all that we have to do. We keep lists of the people for whom we need to buy presents. We keep lists of the people to whom we need to write thank-you notes. Because it's sometimes hard to keep track of all of these lists, some of us have a list of lists to help us keep it all straight.
Have you noticed that the most important things in life never seem to make it onto our to-do list? Twenty-eight hundred years ago the Prophet Micah asked a question about the things that are on God's list --the things he requires of us.
This weekend we're beginning a new series called "Answering The Call," and we'll be looking at the first of three things on the to-do list that God has for each of us. I hope you can take a break from your holiday preparations and join us as we celebrate what God is doing among us.

 THANKSGIVING FOOD DRIVE
ERBC is partnering with World Impact to provide 300 care boxes for the hungry this Thanksgiving.  REASON FOR THE SEASON
ERBC Women are invited to join us for an evening of food, encouragement and crafting. We'll enjoy traditional Christmas tamales, a devotion on the meaning of advent candles, and a craft project of making votive candle holders. It's all happening Friday, November 16, 7-9PM in Chi Hall.
