EVALUATION OF MN ANGEL TAX CREDIT PROGRAM

For the MN Department of Revenue, EDR Group evaluated Minnesota's relatively new (implemented July 2010) Angel Investment Tax credit program, a legislative requirement on the state's Department of Revenue. The study considered multi-faceted effects from the program's authorized funding for the interval 2010 through 2012. A key part of the evaluation was based on finding from surveys targeted to investors, investor funds, and the recipient qualified small businesses who have received investment dollars. Read More

ECONOMIC IMPACT OF COLORADO AIRPORTS

For the Colorado Department of Transportation, EDR Group was part of a team assessing the economic impact and community benefits for every airport within the State of Colorado. The study, provides estimates of the local importance and regional economic impact of individual airports to their service areas, as well as the statewide economic dependence on, and role of aviation. NORTH STATE (CA) TRANSPORTATION INVESTMENTS 

For the Shasta Regional Transportation Agency (SRTA), on behalf of the 16-county North State region of California, EDR Group was part of a team that examined needs and opportunities for stimulating economic activity through targeted investments in transportation infrastructure. The project, funded by Caltrans, included analysis to: (1) identify accessibility-related obstacles and opportunities to economic activity; (2) evaluate regional transportation plans in terms of their responsiveness to existing and emerging industry; and (3) calculate the economic impact of proposed or alternative transportation investments. INFRASTRUCTURE INVESTMENTS POST-RECESSION

Steven Landau spoke at the Rocky Mountain Land Use Institute Annual Conference, March 13-14 2014 at the University of Denver, Sturm College of Law. Landau was on a panel entitled, "Winners & Losers In The Recession Recovery: Can Leadership Get Us Out of the Infrastructure Mess? This session informed attendees about which portions of the real estate market are benefiting from increasing demand as well as those wherein demand is low and unlikely to recover.  Read More.
