Notification of Addendum
SOL 2015-4026
Redevelopment of 16 West Central Parkway
|
The Cincinnati Metropolitan Housing Authority has recently decided to develop/redevelop a key site in its portfolio in downtown Cincinnati known as 16 West Central Parkway. The site borders the Over the Rhine (OTR) neighborhood and serves as a priority candidate for market-rate and/or affordable residential and mixed-use redevelopment.
To achieve the goal of redeveloping the Site, the Authority is advertising this Request for Qualifications to solicit proposals from experienced developers interested in partnering with the Authority for the purpose of redeveloping the Site. The Authority is seeking through this RFQ to select a firm or consortium of firms with a proven track record in developing and/or serving as the master developer/redeveloper for urban/downtown development projects who have the funding or ability to acquire funding for large scale projects and can work in partnership with the Authority. The location of this Site is in a highly desirable area that is surrounded by upscale redevelopment efforts. New businesses such as restaurants, market-rate residential units, arts and offices have arrived into the OTR/Vine Street corridor.
The Cincinnati Metropolitan Housing Authority (CMHA) is providing this courtesy notification to advise you that and Addendum to the below listed Request for Qualifications (RFQ) has been posted to our website at Link.

Call for Additional Volunteers

Professionals in the built environment -- we need YOU!
The Design LAB: Learn And Build education program (previously Architecture By Children (ABC) is seeking classroom volunteers to discuss this year's theme "Learning Spaces: Inside the Classroom and Beyond". We currently have 108 registered classrooms, reaching over 1900 students in the greater Cincinnati area. Those with a background in architecture, construction, design or engineering are welcome to participate, and the Architectural Foundation of Cincinnati (AFC) will provide resource materials and a training orientation. This is a wonderful opportunity to give back to your community and impact the lives of students, introducing them to how the built environment can positively affect their lives. Please consider giving a few hours of your time monthly for a 4-month period to help make this program successful. We are looking for 40-50 more volunteers to help carry out this year's program.
Be part of the Build. Inspire the next generation!
Design LAB 2016 Program: 'Learning Spaces: Inside the Classroom and Beyond'
Students will explore, program, design and build models of their ideal learning spaces. Design LAB is flexible, educators are excited to work with you, and students are THRILLED you are coming to their classroom. Many schools register each year, and we can only offer this unique design education experience with YOUR support. Thank you.
