Design LAB: Inspire Kids & Be Inspired!
Check out this amazing opportunity where you can take time away from the busy office and re-energize yourself by going "back to school" to share the excitement of architecture with tomorrow's future! Create with K-12 students in the classroom, 2 to 8 hours monthly - you decide! - from Dec - Apr. Volunteer hours may be applied to NCARB IDP Community Service hours, scholarship requirements, etc.
Design LAB 2016 Program: 'Learning Spaces: Inside the Classroom and Beyond'
Students will explore, program, design and build models of their ideal learning spaces. Design LAB is flexible, educators are excited to work with you, and students are THRILLED you are coming to their classroom. Many schools register each year, and we can only offer this unique design education program with YOUR support.

Urban Design Salon: Street Vibrancy Tools for Cincinnati

Program is hosted by AIA Cincinnati and the Cincinnati chapters of APA and ASLA.
Priya Bettadapur is Program Manager for Vibrant Streets, a project within Streetsense, where Bobby Boone, MCP UC, AICP LEED AP ND, is Research Strategist. Based in Bethesda, this design, architecture and brokerage firm was recognized for its research in 2012, and nationally in 2014 for innovation in DC. These awards paralleled Plan Cincinnati's wrap-up and national recognition. Also last year, leading new media, including NPR, reported the release of the national version of the Vibrant Streets Toolkit for neighborhood, job and retail growth.
