Innovations Waiver amendment delayed
Dave Richard, Deputy Secretary for Medical Assistance at N.C. Department of Health and Human Services, notified Smoky Mountain MCO that the implementation date for the NC Innovations Waiver amendment changes and resource allocation has been extended to November 1, 2016.
The extension of the implementation date will allow for additional training and preparation and provide additional time for approval of the changes by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS).
