Important notice to Innovations Waiver providers
A recent communication from the Division of Medical Assistance (DMA) announced that the implementation of the Innovations Waiver amendment has been delayed.
Stakeholder reviews and the final 10-day posting were delayed, resulting in a later-than-expected submission to the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS). DMA anticipates that the CMS approval process may take between 60-90 days. In light of this revised timeframe, Innovations Waiver providers should be aware that they will have less time to inform participants of the approved Waiver changes, and plan accordingly. The new effective date is set for April 1, 2016.
