Updated email for comments to NC Innovations Waiver
Changes to the NC Innovations Waiver are being proposed, and the Division of Medical Assistance (DMA) is seeking input from stakeholders. The NC Innovations Waiver Amendment Application has been posted for a 30-day public comment period and can be found on the DMA website.
Comments may be submitted by email using the updated address listed on the website, or by phone at 919-855-4968. Comments must be received by DMA no later than 12:01 a.m. on July 14, 2015.

NC HCBS Provider Self-Assessment Training
Smoky Mountain LME/MCO will offer Home and Community Based Services (HCBS) Provider Self-Assessment training in July. Led by Jesse Smathers, Smoky Innovations Technical Director, and Patty Wilson, Smoky Contract Performance Director, the training is designed for Qualified Professionals who manage Innovations services.
Training will take place at the Doubletree by Hilton Asheville, located at 115 Hendersonville Road, Asheville, North Carolina. Providers may select from the training dates listed below:
Tuesday, July 7, 2015 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
Wednesday, July 8, 2015 1:00 - 4:00 p.m.
Please note, attendance is required for providers who offer services that fall under the HCBS rule. For questions, please email hcbs@smokymountaincenter.com. |
