There is no time for winter hibernation for Buddy Bear. On Saturday, February 23rd, he was at St. Francis University cheering for the Red Flash during DelGrosso's Amusement Park Elementary School Day. Elementary Students 6th grade and under were able to attend the Men's or Women's basketball games for free! Buddy found some young basketball players from Westmont that he was cheering with in the stands!
There is nothing like a good book... especially on Read Across America Day!! Buddy Bear celebrated Dr. Seuss Day at Myers Elementary School in Bellwood.
He entertained the 2nd grade class by reading his new book "Buddy Bear and the Merry Go Round Mystery". He then donated a copy of the book to the school library.
Don't forget you can purchase your very own book at these locations: The Park Office, Explore Altoona Visitors Shop at the Blair County Convention Center and during the month of March at the Altoona Public Library. This fun filled hard back book is just $9.95 plus tax!
