Have you experienced challenges during your time as a graduate student?  Of course you have!  All people experience challenges as a part of life.  How we actually respond to the challenge can determine how successful we will be.  During this session, we will talk about how a resiliency model can be used to best prevent challenges from derailing our professional and personal goals, along with using this model to assist us in our response to challenge.  Finally, we will ask participants to discussion common challenges that graduate students face and apply the resiliency model to their unique situations to better inform future decisions and outcomes.
