Thesis and Dissertation Deadlines

The thesis and dissertation submission deadline is August 2, 2013 for students planning to graduate in August 2013.  All theses and dissertations must be submitted, reviewed, and approved in Graduation Manager by noon on August 2nd  2013.

Please review the guidelines for theses and dissertations, accessible from the Graduate School's website, for helpful information as you prepare for submission.  For more detail, please access the Thesis and Dissertation Guidebook.

Gorge Safety

The heavy rain lately has made for some spectacular waterfalls and beautiful sights in our gorges. We want to remind our current and new community members of the dangers of being off the designated trails and swimming in the gorges.  While the water may look inviting on hot summer days, swimming is prohibited, and there are many dangers. Tak
e a moment to view this student-created video that describes important information for safely enjoying the natural gorge areas. Gorge Stewards  are on the trails to discuss safety, gorge regulations and gorge swimming alternatives, and also lead guided hikes Thursdays and Saturdays during the summer. Please expect to see Cornell Police Officers patrolling the gorges enforcing the rules.
