The class employs spontaneous and planned writing tasks, peer and individual editing activities, class and small-group discussions, and online collaboration. Participants continue to focus on techniques for writing more effectively for the academic and professional environment by broadening their understanding of the language of research papers, abstracts, proposals, reports, summaries, and related academic and professional genres.
