Summer Language Instruction Grants

Thanks to the generosity of graduate alumni, the Graduate School has gift income available to assist graduate students with the costs of intensive summer language instruction in a language other than English for Summer 2013.

The Graduate School anticipates making 8 to 10 awards of $500 to $2,000 each to supplement department awards. Because of the large number of requests for funding each year, this is a competitive process. Priority is given to students who must obtain language proficiency prior to the Fall 2013 semester in order to initiate or complete dissertation/thesis research.
