Due to technical difficulties, remote access to BearBuy must now be through VPN (Virtual Private Network). If you do not have a VPN client please go to Remote Access VPN Service to install one. If you have any difficulties installing the VPN client contact Campus Shared Services.
VPN is not required for accessing BearBuy through the campus network.
2. BearBuy 16.2 System Maintenance
What to expect during the outage:
- BearBuy will not be available
- In the Event of a true purchasing emergency, please contact your Campus Buyer for assistance.
The highlights of this release are:
- Ability to Change Purchase Order Owner
- Campus to submit BearBuy Help Desk ticket to request change
- Updates to BearBuy System Requirements
The 2016 Supply Chain Management Supplier Showcase is less than a month away! Come interact with over 20 campus suppliers, participate in a raffle, giveaways, and sample food from America To Go Vendors (limited supply). The first 200 visitors will receive a door prize!

5. New Eppendorf Hosted Catalog
If you would like to request a supplier to be reactivated, please email [email protected] and include "Supplier Reactivation" in your subject line. Please include the supplier name and supplier ID number in your email.
If the supplier profile needs to be updated, please submit a completed UC Berkeley Substitute W-9 and Supplier Information Form to Vendoring. Additional information may be required from the supplier prior to reactivation.
7. Upcoming In Class Training
Register to learn more about BearBuy with one of our upcoming in-class trainings based on BearBuy user roles. Courses are offered through the UC Learning Center. Instructions and more information on how to enroll can be found on the page.

BearBuy Authorizer & Requisition Approver | September 1, 2016

Classroom training for the BearBuy Requisition Approver, Additional Authorizer, Chartfield 1 & 2 Authorizer Roles. Participants will learn concepts, workflow, best practices, and test their knowledge through several exercises in BearBuy. We will also review where to find additional training materials available for the role, including Job Aids and YouTube videos.
BearBuy Voucher Approver | September 7, 2016

Practical classroom training for the BearBuy Voucher Approver role. Participants will be shown concepts, workflow, best practices, and test their knowledge through several exercises in BearBuy. 8. "Did you know?" Useful BearBuy Tip Reminder:
Q: I want to review the comments on a requisition and all associated documents such as the purchase order and voucher. Is there a fast way to see all comments on my order?
A: Yes, there is a quick way to view all comments from the associated order documents. When viewing the comments tab on any document such as requisition, purchase order or voucher you can select to show comments for all documents.
Once you have navigated to the comments tab of an order you would select All in the pull down menu option next to the text Show comments for: 
All comments from the requisition, purchase order, invoice and receipt will show:
