UCSF Supply Chain Management

1. BearBuy System Maintenance


BearBuy will be unavailable between 6:00 p.m. on Friday, March 27 through 9:00 a.m. on Sunday, March 29 for system maintenance. To avoid delays, please complete all BearBuy requests prior to the system maintenance. 



2. BearBuy 15.1 Enhancements Coming March 30


New BearBuy enhancements will be released March 30, 2015. A PowerPoint presentation outlining the new features and revised Quick Reference Guides will be available under the 'Training' menu on the Supply Chain Management (SCM) website.  


The highlights of this release are:

  • Enhanced Favorites look and feel
  • Ability to search Favorites
  • More details in voucher approval email notification
  • New "Add to New Cart" forms option
  • New Look and feel for catalog search box, forms descriptions, and Document Search filter panel
  • New Shopping Home link location in menu


Q: I made a mistake on my Payment Request or Meeting & Entertainment Payment Request Form. The payment request has been approved by my department. A payment request purchase order has been created as well as a voucher. Can I submit a Change Order Request Form to correct my mistake?


A: Change Order Request Forms are for changing purchase orders for suppliers. Change Order Request Forms cannot be used to change a Payment Request or Meeting & Entertainment Payment Request Purchase Order or voucher.
