2. December 6th Bears That Buy Town Hall Update
We would like to thank everyone who attended our Bears That Buy Town Hall on December 6th.  The turnout was fantastic and we received a lot of great feedback! We appreciate the opportunity to hear your comments.  Your input is valuable to us and will be used in the upcoming year as we focus on improving BearBuy.

We have posted the Town Hall presentation and FAQs on our Bears That Buy User Group webpage.

For those of you, who were not able to make it, we would still love to hear from you.  Please email the BearBuy Help Desk to let us know what you think.
3. America To Go Catalog Update

We are excited to announce that the America To Go catalog will go live in the BearBuy catalog in the first quarter of 2014.

Visit the America To Go FAQs webpage to learn about:

  • The campus town hall in February. This event will include an overview of the BearBuy catalog functionality and an opportunity to ask questions.

5. "Did You Know?" BearBuy Tips

Tip 1

When campus end users have questions or problems with invoices, please contact the BearBuy Help Desk at 510-664-9000 (options 1, 2, 1) or BearBuyHelp@berkeley.edu for assistance.

Tip 2

The product I want to purchase is not in the catalog but I see it on the supplier's website.  Can I still order this item?

Yes, you would use the Non-Catalog Form to purchase an item from a supplier that is not found in their BearBuy catalog.  The products in the catalogs are based on the Strategic Sourcing/UCOP negotiated contract and may not include all items that the vendor offers.

Please attach a quote/estimate for backup or a link to the item on the supplier's website.
