Dear Research Community,
UC San Francisco/UC Berkeley Strategic Sourcing announces a new agreement with Alliance Welding Supply (Alliance Gas Products) for all campus dry ice needs. Our agreement has garnered a campus-wide standard price with no delivery charge, which has now become the most low cost and competitive price on campus. This agreement will result in up to 20% cost savings at UC Berkeley.
Alliance Gas has also partnered with the University on future traffic reduction initiatives on all campuses.
Strategic Sourcing will be working with Alliance over the next week to finalize the transition plan. We expect to complete the transition within the next month.
A new blanket P.O. with Alliance will need to be created for your department within BearBuy. Dry ice orders may be placed with:
