Dear Colleagues,
UCSF is now participating in a 3-year Adobe Acrobat licensing contract between Adobe and the University of California System. The licensing agreement is available through March 31, 2016. All Acrobat Professional product upgrades, computer labs, classrooms (including virtualization) and institutionally owned machines in participating departments are covered by this agreement. Participating departments no longer need to purchase Adobe Acrobat licenses individually.
The latest release and subsequent releases of Adobe Acrobat Professional (for Windows and OS X) is available to participating departments. Faculty and staff members in participating departments are also authorized to install one copy of Acrobat Professional product on their personally-owned computers for work at home purposes. Participating departments were licensed by IT Field Services based on conversion to desktop support services by March 2014. IT Field Services will license more departments after March 2014 based on their commitment to join the service.
