 1. BFS Requisition Closure
This is for notification purposes only. No action is required
With UC Berkeley's "Procure-to-Pay" system successfully transitioned from BFS to BearBuy, we will be closing out all legacy BFS requisitions and processes.
At the beginning of this year we began closing all BFS POs. The closing of BFS requisitions is a continuation of that project.
We have identified the BFS requisitions that will be closed. Please go to the BearBuy homepage and click on the BFS Open Requisitions link to view a list of all requisitions in question. All BFS requisitions will be closed by September 30th. If you have any questions, feel free to contact the BearBuy Help Desk at bearbuyhelp@berkeley.edu. |
2. America To Go Catalog and Tasting EventOn October 3rd from 11:30AM-12:30PM, participating caterers will be on campus to provide information, menu tastings and demonstrations of their services and food. Space is limited to 100 guests; please contact Stacey Templeman in Procurement Services to request an invitation with directions to this event.
Additional caterers will be added to the America To Go catalog on an ongoing basis. As caterers are added, the BearBuy catalog will become the recommended method to order and pay for catering for on-campus meetings, program activities and special events.
In August and September, Procurement Services hosted several campus focus groups on catering and entertainment. As a result of these focus groups, the America To Go Frequently Asked Questions webpage on the UC Berkeley Procurement Services website has been updated and includes lists of participating caterers. Please visit this site for the latest information.

3. Canon Adds Ray Morgan Company as a Sales and Service Provider
The University of California has recently assigned an additional sales and service provider, Ray Morgan Company, for Canon U.S.A., Inc.
Ray Morgan Company (RMC) is a long-time service provider for many other universities including UC Davis. With over 33 years of experience in servicing Canon products and with offices in San Francisco and the East Bay, Ray Morgan Company's approach is both community-based and customer-focused.

Is there a way for me to compare items when shopping from the hosted catalogs?
Answer
Yes, you can compare items when shopping from hosted catalogs by clicking the compare button to select items in the search results, then click the Compare Selected button. Comparing items is a helpful way to decide which item you want to purchase. You will be able to see a side-by-side comparison of key item details.
Search for an item:
Click compare in the search results panel to select multiple items then click Compare Selected.
 
Compare items is shown. From this screen you can also edit the quantity of an item and Add to Cart.
