One Hierarchy Project Update: Your Actions Needed by Today: Friday, June 28th 

Dear BearBuy Users,

We are sending this followup message to remind Requisition Creators, Authorizers, and Approvers to take any necessary actions to update Dept IDs for Requisitions and Purchase Orders by today, Friday, June 28th.

Please refer to the Procurement Services BearBuy hompage on how to take the appropriate actions to update any BearBuy tranactions to avoid process delays or processing errors.  

  • Under the Training Resource section at the bottom of the page, click on the link titled One Hierarchy BearBuy POs Needing Dept ID Changes to review Purchase Orders needing updates to Dept IDs.  
  • In the event a Change Order needs to be done, refer to the  Modifying Chartstrings job aid in that section. 
  • Voucher Approvers can continue to approve pending vouchers through this Friday, June 28th. Vouchers approved by June 28th will not be impacted by the One Hierarchy Dept ID changes.
  • Speedtypes will be centrally updated with the identified replacement Dept IDs.

  • Org Nodes will be centrally updated the weekend of July 6/7.
