A health-oriented, fast-casual restaurant called Freshii plans to open early next month in a new retail space across from West Towne Mall.

The Verona School Board has already approved land purchases for three parcels, totaling 129 acres, for around $8.5 million. Superintendent Dean Gorrell said the district is hoping to reach an agreement on a fourth property that would be added onto an April referendum to authorize the purchases.
