MADISON SEEKS TO CHANGE STATE TIF RULES FOR CITY PARKING GARAGES 

 

A change would let Madison use tax incremental financing (TIF) resources to pay for municipal parking structures.

A Skogen's Festival Foods grocery store will be built on the north side of the 800 block of East Washington Avenue.

The privately owned grocer has 18 locations in Wisconsin but this will be its first entry into the competitive Madison market.

Backers of the proposed Couture high-rise on Milwaukee's downtown lakefront are again seeking state legislation to help clear up a dispute over whether the property can be privately developed.

FEDS APPROVE ROUTE CHANGE FOR PROPOSED MILWAUKEE STREETCARS
