DANE COUNTY HOME PRICES THROUGH JUNE DOWN 10% FROM PEAK, UP 2% FROM LAST YEAR 

 

Price per square foot for single-family homes has risen every month of 2013 through June.

A developer is proposing a mixed-use project with rental housing on John Nolen Drive near the Alliant Energy Center.T. Wall Enterprises is proposing a five-story building with commercial space and 80 apartments on the site of a former office building destroyed by fire at 900 John Nolen Drive.

The shortfall was especially severe for condos, which were down almost 62% from the June 2007 peak, and by nearly half from last June.
