GOV. WALKER PROPOSES $560,000 FOR DOMESTIC ABUSE SHELTER IN MADISON

Two weeks after a Madison woman was slain in Dane County's first domestic violence-related homicide of the year, Gov. Scott Walker announced Wednesday he is proposing the state contribute $560,000 toward the construction of a new shelter to be built next year by Domestic Abuse Intervention Services.
