MADISON DEVELOPER TERRENCE WALL EYES GREEN BAY SITE FOR 300-UNIT APARTMENT PROJECT
 

Terrence Wall's new company, T. Wall Enterprises, wants to build 300 apartments along the Fox River in Green Bay.

RETAILERS FLOCK TO SUN PRAIRIE INTERCHANGE  

 

The anchors on this city's southwest side are formidable. Target was the first to break ground and opened in 2009. In August, Janesville-based Woodman's Market opened a 225,000-square-foot, $20 million grocery store. On Thursday, Costco will open to its card-carrying members a 152,000-square-foot warehouse, the second in Dane County and fourth in the state.

DANE COUNTY HOME SALES UP 61 PERCENT IN OCTOBER, FOR 16TH MONTH IN A ROVE OF RISING SALES   

 

For the 16th straight month, existing home and condo sales in Dane County increased over the previous year, though median sales price remained tepid as more homes under $200,000 sold.

DANE COUNTY FORECLOSURES FALL FOR 2ND STRAIGHT MONTH IN SEPTEMBER    

New foreclosures dropped in Dane County in September compared to the same month a year ago, for the second straight year-over-year decrease of 2012 - but for only the third month in 2012 overall.

DANE COUNTY'S SUPPLY OF HOMES, CONDOS FOR SALE HITS LOWEST LEVEL IN LAST 7 YEARS

Active listings and months of supply dropped again in Dane County in October compared with the previous year, in a continuing good trend for the local housing market.

 MAYFAIR COLLECTION FUNDING PROPOSAL WINS 2ND OK 


A proposal to provide up to $8.5 million in city funds to help develop the Mayfair Collection shopping center has received its second endorsement from Wauwatosa officials.The Common Council's Budget and Finance Committee voted 5-0 Tuesday night to recommend approval. The full council is to review the proposal next Tuesday. The plan was also approved Nov. 1 by the Community Development Authority.

 DEVELOPER PROPOSES 331 APARTMENTS IN MENOMONEE FALLS   

Fiduciary Real Estate Development Inc. is proposing 331 higher-end apartments for 14 acres west of the former Stolper site in Menomonee Falls, a $40 million project. The apartments would be north of Roosevelt Drive and south of a planned extension of Richfield Way, west of Patton Drive.

 FORMER EATON BUILDING GETS REZONING OK  


A proposed rezoning of what will soon be Eaton Corp.'s former division headquarters was endorsed Monday, helping prepare for the north side building's redevelopment. The Milwaukee Plan Commission unanimously recommended new zoning for the seven-story building at 4201 N. 27th St. Eaton will be leaving by the end of the year for its new building in Menomonee Falls.

APARTMENTS PLANNED FOR RIVERFRONT NEAR HUMBOLDT 


A development firm is hoping to build apartments on a site overlooking the Milwaukee River just downriver from Humboldt Ave. HSI Properties LLC is planning the project for a 1-acre site at 1887 N. Water St., the former home of Pro Graphics Inc. That building, which has been vacant for several years, would be demolished and replaced by anywhere from roughly 80 to 100 apartments, said Ryan Schultz, HSI co-owner.

GOOD FOODS GROUP TO MOVE HQ FROM CHICAGO TO PLEASANT PRAIRIE  

 
Another Chicago area company plans to move to Kenosha County. Chicago-based Good Foods Group LLC has purchased a 57,000-square-foot building at 10100 88th Ave. in Pleasant Prairie and plans to establish production operations there and move its headquarters there, said company founder and chief executive officer Kurt Penn.
