SUNDAY SCHOOLHOUSE
It's a happening place!
All children go directly to the Gathering Room in the basement. (Nursery Care for our youngest is always available.)
The new youth spaces are beautiful! Think about inviting friends to visit us this fall!
This week we will be watching the VeggieTales video "The Wonderful Wizard of Ha's." It is the story of a young asparagus who cashes in his inheritance to spend it all on the riches and pleasures of city life.

Looking ahead to October 18th - we will be making SchoolHouse applesauce to share after worship. Upcoming "YOU FIRST" themes:  kindness in sports, noticing the need and stopping, and the science of giving.

Stewardship
Pledge cards were sent this week to all members who are currently pledging. Members who did not pledge for 2015 and new members will receive pledge cards the week of October 19. Please return as early as you can so the Finance Committee can develop a proposed budget for 2016.

Reminder -- Please send in your pledge payments if you fell behind over the summer. We need this income to balance our fall cash expenses.

Oops!
With apologies, none of the folks involved with Stewardship caught the misspelling of Barbara Crouse's name on the 2016 pledge card.

And finally... Pastor Ginny and Doug will be visiting family next weekend! We welcome Erica Nierendorf to the pulpit.
