Hello Ladies, 


We have a date for the 2016 Women's Retreat! June 17 - 19 has become available and was preferred slightly over the early May date based on the 14 responses I received.  

Seascape (houses 15) and Mercy Center have great accommodations (double or single rooms with private/shared baths), a beautiful meeting space with a view of the ocean, lovely grounds (large grass yard with gardens, labyrinth, gazebo and beach access) and a convenient location  -1 hr. 10 min. drive from Granby.  

 

 

The rate will be the same for Seascape ($230 per person) next year and they are not charging a premium for the single room which we'll again reserve for Ginny.  The rate is higher for singles in the Main House ($290).

All meals will be available to us in the Dining Room next year at no additional cost but we don't need to make that decision until May.  Thoughts on meals would be appreciated - maybe just make our own dinners next year and eat both breakfasts and Saturday lunch in the dining room?  

I will start a 2016 sign-up sheet this weekend and leave it in Ginny's mailbox.  Please add your name and include a $75 deposit to hold a spot in Seascape and a $100 deposit to hold a single in the Main House (checks payable to First Church).  Assuming there is someone to take your place, I would be able to refund a deposit before the balance is due May 17th (30 days in advance) if anyone needs to cancel between now and then.

I will make sure an announcement goes out to all women in the Church as well.
