SUNDAY SCHOOL...
"The happiest man is he who learns from nature
the lesson of worship"
This Spring we are learning and observing the lessons nature has to teach us,
and what better time than Spring?
We learn that life and new growth can follow a cold, hard winter.
This Sunday we take a field trip to the Wilhelm Farm
- to consider how a forest is reborn after loss,
and how mushrooms grow from the host of a dead log.
ALL YOUTH GO DIRECTLY to the BIG ROOM in the basement to check in. In case of rain we will meet in the room for music, stories and nature lessons.
G-CREW is SELLING STOCK
Every Sunday in May we will be in Cook Hall selling stock in $10 units to support our Summer Mission Trip. Every little bit helps us afford the transportation (four vans and gas) to get to West Virginia. The church has been very generous already through the Dessert Auction and we so appreciate it. Help us finish meeting our transportation goal, by buying a unit or two of stock! We are almost there! Each stockholder will receive a personal note from a G Crew member, midweek through our work week in Appalachia.
Mission Trips Change lives!
G CREW meets every Sunday night at 6 - 8 pm. This Sunday Miki Smith, Trevor's mom, is bringing us dinner. Thank you!
New Members Welcome!
Have you or your family been participating in worship and wondered about
the next steps in participation? We will welcome new members in worship on Sunday, May 3. If interested in investigating full membership, talk to Pastor Ginny or one of the deacons for more information.

Reports from Nepal have been heartbreaking. Though nobody knows for sure, estimates suggest that more than 4,000 may have died. It is the worst earthquake to strike Nepal in over 80 years. United Church of Christ Disaster Ministries is already present on the ground in Nepal, working through our partners in the ACT Alliance, providing food, water, and temporarily shelter. Those who survived the quake will need support for many years to come.
Here's how you can help:
1. Pray for the people and communities impacted by the earthquake.
2. Make a gift payable to your congregation marked for Nepal Earthquake, with the request it be sent payable to the United Church of Christ, Wider Church Ministries, Financial Services - 6th Floor, 700 Prospect Avenue, Cleveland, OH 44115.
