First Edition
Let's Journey Together!
One world... home for everyone
This Sunday we will welcome several folks affiliated with the International Peacemaking Program at Hartford Seminary. Cingh Niang, who goes by "Lun," is a Baptist Christian from Myanmar (Burma) and will give a presentation in Cook Hall over lunch about present-day Burma. Hasan Dooago, and his wife Hoda, are Shi'ite Muslims from Qom, Iran. This will be their first Christian worship experience. The Rev. Dr. Jonathan Lee, director of the program will preach on why interfaith relationships are critical in "A discipline of encounter."

In addition, we will welcome a number of canine friends associated with Guiding Eyes for the Blind and their human companions. It is graduation time from First Church puppy school and we want to recognize the extraordinary gift of time and love that the families who train these special dogs make to prepare them for the advanced work of becoming service animals.
