Women's Spirituality Groups begin Monday

This week we'll be sharing our favorite poetry. But it's time to start reading The Lizard Cage by Karen Connelly, which will be the subject of our conversation during October and November. (Participants purchase the book in their preferred format!) Groups are always open to new members. We meet the second and fourth Mondays of each month. 

 

BIBLE STUDY

Are you ready for something new this fall? Join the ongoing Bible study group which meets with Pastor Ginny every Thursday morning from 10:30 to noon in the Memorial Meeting Room. Our first group of characters: Wicked and Wily women! We'll be using Bible Women: All Their Words and Why They Matter as our guide. Copies are available for $15.

 

Join Us - Ginny's 20th Anniversary - Sunday, September 28
Ginny was ordained 20 years ago, an occasion worth recognition and honor. The Rev. Cal Mutti, who was the pastor of South Church in Andover, MA while she was a student there and one of Ginny's first mentors, will preach. There will be a reception following worship. Bring finger food to share!

Friday, October 10 - 7:30 pm
The Jolly Beggars will perform in our sanctuary for the inaugural concert of the Barbara Crouse Memorial Concert Series. You won't want to miss hearing these dynamic musicians! Bring a friend...or two or three. There is no cost to attend.
