Ribbon Cut on Newly Renovated Main Library


On Tuesday, Oct. 14, Roanoke's Main Library re-opened to the public after an 11-month renovation. New features include bright colors, self-checkout options, an expanded teen area, kids area with slide, and much more! Click here to read more. Click here to watch a video of the opening.
Students Paint Rain Barrels for City Giveaway

 

The city's new Stormwater Division, in collaboration with the Roanoke Arts Commission and Roanoke City Public Schools, recently hosted a Rain Barrel Art Giveaway Contest on Facebook. The goal of this project was to promote the use of rain barrels as one of the cheapest and easiest Stormwater Best Management Practices. Click here to read more.
