City Targets Historic West End for Improvements

Roanoke's Historic West End is front and center for some much needed changes. That's because in September 2011, Roanoke identified this area as the next target for the use of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) funds received by the city. Funds are used mainly for housing, economic development projects, and infrastructure such as storm drains, curb, gutter, and sidewalk. More information here.
