August/2013

Happy August to all of our HR Professional and Manager partners.

For many with children, August marks the beginning of "back-to-school" season. This month's newsletter provides resources to make this transition as seamless as possible for you and your child. See the Balanced Living Newsletter for advice on how to make this school year the best ever for your child, or check out the Wellness Exchange Newsletter for information on immunization awareness and preventing sports injuries.

In addition to childcare, elder care is becoming one of the biggest work/life balance issues for employees these days. As an HR professional or manager you probably have employees who are affected by this issue. With that in mind, you may be interested in the article "Elder Care Issues Surface in the Workplace" (available August 1st on our blog) which explores this concern from a managerial standpoint.

We hope that you and your employees have a wonderful month of August. And please, always remember that the Wellness Work/Life Program is ready and available whenever you need resources and support.
