Christopher Gray's (BSCST, '14) startup company, Scholly, was selected by AOL founder Steve Case (out of 8 Philly startup finalists) to receive a $100K investment. Rose Chiocchi (MSLIS, '12), director of the Pike County Library in Milford, Pa., was featured in The Pike County Courier for a presentation that she gave to the school board on new programs available for high school students at the Pike County Library. Peter D. Coyl (MSLIS, '10), district manager at the Dallas Public Library, was selected as chair of the American Library Association's Gay, Lesbian, Transgender Round Table (GLBTRT) for a one-year term beginning in July 2015. John P. Culshaw (MSLIS, '90), university librarian at the University of Iowa, received the Distinguished Alumni Achievement Award which honors University of Wisconsin-Parkside alumni who have excelled in achievement and service.
Bill Egan (BSIS, '94), a director and actor who has been featured in movies and TV shows such as The Sixth Sense and Veep, starred in the leading role of the play "Mother Tongue" that ran during GayFest!, a 16-day LGBT theater festival held in Philadelphia in Aug. 2015.

BSCST, '13) was recently hired as the community outreach manager of TechGirlz, a non-profit organization based in Philadelphia dedicated to empowering young women to become future technology leaders.

Drexel University Libraries' first data analyst for resource access.
Michael Koenig (PhD Info. Science, '82), a professor at Long Island University, is the recipient of the 2015 ASIST Award of Merit, in recognition of his noteworthy contributions to the field of information science.
