It's time to celebrate the 150th anniversary of the LDS Church in Laie!
Here are some of the major celebration events that will be taking place in coming days:
Sunday, November 1st
- Devotional with Elder D. Todd Christofferson of the Twelve 7PM, BYUH Cannon Activities Center
- BYUH will live-stream this event over the Internet at http://flash.byuh.edu/live.html
Monday
- BYU-Hawaii Fall commencement with Elder Christofferson 9:30AM in the BYUH Cannon Activities Center
Friday
- Hawaii Reserves, Inc. Celebration Bash 6PM at Laie Shopping Center
- Good food, free rides for the keiki
- Live entertainment, including Vaihi and Touch of Gold
- Join us in singing "Happy Birthday" to the LDS Church in Laie!
Saturday
- Parade hosted by the Laie Community Association 9-11AM
- Participate in the balloon release at the Hale La'a big circle and along the parade route!
- "Behold Laie" youth pageant; BYU-Hawaii Cannon Activities Center, performances at 5PM and 7:30PM
- Hundreds of youth from the LDS community stakes surrounding Laie will take you on a journey through the history of this special place
