July 2016

Greetings World Cup Parents,

Our playgrounds, hallways and classrooms are filled with campers enjoying this

wonderful summer.  They are spending their days creating fun arts and crafts, running through the octopus sprinkler, splashing in the kiddie pools and water tables, and jumping in the gym.  I'm tired just watching them!

Our older campers had the chance to bowl at Cortland Lanes and bounce on the trampolines at Rockin Jump and look forward to more trips to the planetarium, a pottery studio and more bouncing in a trampoline park.

We can still make room if you would like to sign up for any additional camp weeks.....just give us a little warning so we can be properly staffed. CLICK HERE for more info.

Hope you are enjoying your summer as much as we are.

Warm regards,

Roxanne Kaplan

Forms, forms & more forms!
Fall packets are being mailed out this week.  As usual there are a lot of forms to be filled out and returned.  You will notice that many of our forms are now double sided as we are trying to reduce paper usage, so make sure you fill out the backs of the forms too!

There will also be your child's class assignment.  Please know that we make every effort to honor requests and that there was a great deal of care that went into creating our class assignments.  We considered the social aspects and ultimately what combinations will work best for the learning environment in each classroom.  We are looking forward to watching each student thrive in the new room.

Please try to get your forms back to the office as soon as possible and don't hesitate to contact the office with any questions you might have.
  Thank you!
Camp Visits

Jerry the Magician visited our campers last week and once again it was a thrilling experience for both the children and the teachers and counselors.  Jerry is wonderful with the campers as he wowed them with disappearing acts and his humor.  Each camper got to take home their own magic fish!

We are expecting explore the ocean when Ocean Rocks visits during camp week 4 and we will explore our inner cowhand when the ponies and petting zoo come to town during camp week 8.
