Greetings World Cup Parents,
Happy Spring everyone! Now that we've made it to May, we're looking at the final weeks of our Spring Session! The countdown to our 2016 Super Show and Summer Session is on!
April proved to be a busy month for our gymnasts at World Cup Gymnastics.  One of our Level 7 gymnasts, Jessica Reith, traveled to Marlborough, Massachusetts to compete at Regional Championships. At State Championships, Jessica qualified in 6th place to become a member of the New York State Super 7 Team, (the Top 7 Level 7 gymnasts in NY regardless of age). At Regional Championships, however, Jessica surpassed even her own expectations, winning 1st Place on the Uneven Bars, she led Team New York to a 3rd Place finish, and had the highest All Around score on her team! We are tremendously proud of Jessica and continue to look forward to her future successes.

April 2016 Girls Team Results
April provided our Girls Team (Levels 3-6) with one final chance at a competition before their respective State Championships! Our Level 3s and Level 6s both won 2nd Place Team awards, and our Level 4s and Level 5s racked up some individual accolades.

April 2016 Boys Team Results
Last Newsletter, we released results that reflected the Boys Team's successes at their Regional Championships.  This week, 4 of our gymnasts will fly out to Battle Creek, Michigan, to compete in the 2016 Junior Olympic National Championships! Our qualifiers include: Level 8 JT Basulto, Level 9s Connor Gallagher and Ettore Panzanaro, and our comeback kid, Miles Miller.
JT, Connor, and Ettore have had great seasons thus far, while Miles' was cut short due to a back injury. We are happy to announce that Miles has fully recovered!
World Cup is extremely proud of these boys and we can't wait to hear how the meet goes! Good luck, Team!

OPEN HOUSE was a big success
On April 30th, World Cup hosted its annual Open House event. Our Pre-School sported a Dinosaur Theme.
Over in the big gym, visitors were presented with Girls and Boys Team routine demonstrations, and then got to try out a handful of different gymnastics stations around the gym, including bars, beam, trampoline, tumble track and rings!
Some of the kids even got inked up at our temporary tattoo stand! We were very pleased with this year's turnout and are looking forward to bigger and better Open Houses in the future!
