April Newsletter
Greetings World Cup Parents,

We finally made it to April! Though the weather may not be on our side, our gymnasts are ready to flip into Spring! Let's catch you up on what's happened at World Cup over the last month...

Over Spring Break, we hosted four fun-packed
Special Days, with themes that included A Bug's Life, Olympics: The Road to Rio The Jungle Book, and Surf's Up! We cooked up some delicious goods, like "Bug Cups", cupcakes, monkey bread, and parfaits. We hosted our own mini-Olympics in the gym, raced through obstacle courses, and played fun games like "Hit the Deck" and "Octopus Tag". And, of course, we did tons of gymnastics!

We had a handful of All-Around Champions, including Dani Halperin, Jenna Fox, Madison Higgins, Natalie Calman, Katherine Grimes, Jessica Reith, and Katie Colella. Our Boys participated in two major competitions recently, NY State Championships and Regional Championships. Featured below is a list of achievements from States as well as Regionals, as there are too many to list! A huge congratulations to our Boys Coaches and gymnasts on their success so far this season! We look forward to hearing about Nationals!

If some of you are over the wacky weather and are dreaming of warmer times, be sure to mark this date:  May 9th! Starting on May 9th, parents may begin to register their gymnasts for our 2016 Summer Classes!
Not to mention our super fun World Cup Gymnastics Summer Camp, where we do gymnastics all day and get to tye dye, bake food, make cool arts and crafts and go on some awesome field trips! Keep an eye out for Summer Camp announcements, as we will release our themes and trips in the near future!

Lastly, don't forget about our 2016 Recreational Supershow! Our instructors are working hard with their gymnasts on putting the finishing touches on their skills and practicing the routines that they will be performing!
If you haven't already, parents be sure to pick up your child's special World Cup leotard that will be the uniform for the Supershow.
