This month's speaker will be Blake Ashby. Mr. Ashby is about to launch a public policy blog and is seeking to engage Republicans on the future of the party.
The Monthly General meeting will be held on Thursday, July 18, 2013 at 7:30 PM at The Jefferson Grill in Downtown Kirkwood, which is located at 127 West Jefferson Ave, Kirkwood, Missouri 63122.

Blake Ashby is president of Adjudica, LLC, an early stage medical software provider that has developed an innovative financial transparency and engagement platform. With over twenty years of business startup experience, Blake has participated in the founding or growth of numerous businesses. He was a cofounder and president of one of the first data-centric competitive phone providers in the Midwest. Acquired by Primary Network, it grew and was later acquired by Mpower Communications. He also authored the original business plan for SAVVIS Communications, now a global data backbone provider, and was a founding member of an electronic standards development body for the U.S. Meat and Poultry Industry, mpXML.org. Other ventures have included software development, communications technologies as well as foodservice and food production companies.
When much younger Blake was active in Republican politics. He co-wrote a book tracing the evolution of Liberalism through the scope of Utopianism with Mack Holekamp, who ran for U.S. Congress in 1988. Blake also prepared a report on the City of Saint Louis Desegregation Program for Sen. Jim Talent, then a member of Missouri's House of Representatives.
