Hello AOA Parents,

 

I hope everyone enjoyed their Thanksgiving break - it's amazing how fast the year is rushing by.

 

Please join us for our next AOAPA meeting / Book Fair at Barnes & Noble on December 4th at 6:30 p.m. There will be various kid friendly activities facilitated by B & N staff and babysitting provided by Upper School students during the meeting, as well as musical entertainment. There will be a few chances for both students and parents to win B & N gift cards throughout the evening. We will also have books available for purchase which will be wrapped at B & N and given to Project Hope as a service project. 

 

Earlier on the same day, Barnes & Noble will be open from 8:00 to 10:00 a.m. exclusively for AOA families to shop as well as to sample coffees in the Café. A percentage of all purchases made throughout the day will benefit AOA. If you are unable to attend but wish to make purchases, you can do so online at www.BN.COM/bookfairs. On the same day as the Barnes & Noble Book Fair, a fundraiser will be held next door at Max & Erma's, with 20% of our sales benefiting AOA.  Please use the coupon below to participate.  Click HERE to print your own coupon.

 
 
Holiday Boutique
 


Every December, the AOAPA hosts a Holiday Boutique for Lower School students to do their holiday shopping. The boutique will be held on December 6th and 7th during school hours.

Middle School students will volunteer to assist younger shoppers and earn community service hours. Some parent volunteers are also needed.

If you are available, you can sign up with Kathy Marvar in the Lower School office or email her at kmarvar@andrewsosborne.org.  You can also volunteer by contacting parent Visnja Kennelly at

visnjakennelly@yahoo.com.  Proceeds from this event support Lower School programs. 


 

Breakfast with Santa

 Lower School Ski Club
  

 

The Lower School Ski Club still has openings available.

 

Registration forms are available in the Lower School office.  When you fill out the Alpine Valley Snow Fun form, please make sure you list AOA as your group, and select Sundays from 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. as your time slot.

 

There will be 5 consecutive weeks of lessons for one hour and free skiing after that (ages 6 to adult). We can ski every Sunday from 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. with these passes for the entire season, which usually goes into mid-March. There is also a special 4 and 5 year old Adventure Club lesson available at 12:00 p.m. on Sundays for the younger children.
