December 2014

E-ComMenT

Today is the last day in the office, before shutting down for the Christmas Holidays!  Yippeeeee!!  Can't wait to relax and enjoy the time off..... hang on, relax?  Over Christmas, with hoards coming to dinner (8 actually) - no chance!  But it'll be fun!

So if you need us, you won't get us on the phone until Monday 5th January, when normal service will be resumed.  Lisa and I will still be checking our emails periodically, and we'll respond if we can.

So please - have a wonderful Christmas and New Year - or whatever holiday YOU celebrate, enjoy yourselves and don't overdo it!  Beat CMT fatigue with delegation, that's my top tip!!!

Kind regards

Karen, Lisa and all the Trustees

Merry Christmas
and Happy New Year

Upgrade Membership

To all
our Supporters who received this brochure
back in November, please do consider upgrading
- it's a simple and easy way of contributing to the "health" of CMT United Kingdom, and your subscription helps us do our day to day work, and so much more!  Don't forget, you can split the cost over the full year - most people can manage £2 per month, I would have thought.

You can download the form to use here!

Looking forward to hearing from you very soon!

Annual Conference

Booking is now open for all at www.cmt.org.uk/annual-conference.php and all the paperwork relating to the Conference will be available for download in the New Year.

Envelopes are being labelled, paperwork printed... look out for it arriving with you in January.

Don't forget - this year's will be particularly special with Dr Mike Shy heading over the pond from Iowa just to talk to us!

Any budding actors out there?

BBC3 are making a 60-minute factual drama about a young couple with physical disabilities bringing up a baby and are looking for someone to play the role of Anna.

Anna is a strong, determined young mother who is determined not to let her physical disability hold her back. We would like to hear from any female wheelchair-users aged between 20 and 30 who are interested in the role - no previous acting experience is necessary.

If you fit the description above and would like to find out more, please contact Zoe at zoe.hutton@bbc.co.uk

Have a fabulous holiday season, and we'll be back in January, refreshed and ready for an exciting New Year - George is starting on the 5th too, and we're hoping that, soon, money will start flooding in, and then who knows what we might be able to do for you all?!

Kind regards.

Karen
