Greetings!
Hope you're all warm and dry - it seems to be raining... And I also hope that you are not suffering with the dreaded cough and cold like I am...
Anyhow, just to let you know - the office will be closing at 12.30pm on Friday 21st December (to allow Lisa and I to fetch our kiddies from school!) and reopening on Monday 7th January. I will be checking my emails during the holiday period, but not necessarily answering them unless something is particularly urgent. You can still leave a message on the voicemail, and we'll deal with them when we get back.
So from all the Trustees - Lisa Welsh, Karin Rodgers, Alex Williamson, Clive Harffy, Richard Ouston, Jeeta Ouston, Amanda Haylock, Mary Carter and John Edwards - and Lisa Yeates, my assistant - and myself of course - we wish you all a fabulous Christmas and a prosperous New Year!

Your opinion
is very important to us!
This survey is about our general priorities and impact - it's a very short survey and your answers could be very useful to us!

Annual Conference
If you usually get your magazine by post, you'll be receiving all the paperwork for the Annual Conference, which includes our AGM, in the post - hopefully by the end of January at the latest. For everyone else, I'll send another email when the paperwork is available for download from the website.
The date for your diary is 20th April 2013 at the Holiday Inn in Runcorn, and it should be a particularly good one this year - Professor Mary Reilly is lead speaker, and she's always amazing! She's also agreed to lead a workshop too! We've got some other good workshops for you too - from decluttering to assistance dogs...
If you'd like to book as soon as possible, you can download a booking form from here - you need to be a member, and you will need to sign into the website, to access this page.

Grand Prize Draw
Our Grand Prize Draw tickets will be accompanying the AGM papers in January - if you would like to NOT receive any, please let me know by email, phone or letter before Christmas, so that I can ensure you aren't sent them by mistake.
Equally, if you would like MORE than the usual one sheet (which equates to £10's worth), let me know, and I can sort that out too!
We raised over £3200 last year, so you can see, it really does make a huge difference to our income!
Thank you for your support and let's make 2013 even better!

What do you think of the new minimal design of this email - it's probably easier to read, isn't it? It's always good to try something new - and hopefully improved!
Have a wonderful Christmas and we'll talk again in the New Year!
Regards
Karen
