Interreligious ForumInterreligious
Masorti Olami's Executive Director, Rabbi Tzvi Graetz, organized an open meeting to explore what the Masorti Movement and leadership can contribute to interfaith relationships both in Israel and worldwide. The idea is to create an Interfaith Forum comprised of Muslim, Christian and Conservative/Masorti Jewish clergy committed to their respective texts and the need for a moderate interpretation in a world plagued by fundamentalism.
Rabbi Jonathan Wittenberg, rabbi of New North London Synagogue in London, along with Raanan Malek, a rabbinical student at the Schechter Institute in Jerusalem, were instrumental in brainstorming for the future of this forum.
