Reflection for Trinity Sunday
by Fr. Joeven Matugas, SX.

What can we get and learn from this feast? I remember when I was still a student during Theology, when we were preparing for our comprehensive examination. We wondered: "What if the panelist will ask us to explain the Trinity to the people who are selling food stuffs in the streets. How would we explain it to them? " Simple question but hard to answer. Find out more.

Elections

2016 looks to be a busy year for democracy, not just in the USA but in other places as well: May 5th, 2016 was a day for elections to the Scottish Parliament, The Welsh Assembly, The Northern Ireland Assembly and many local councils across England. On top of that there is a Referendum Vote on Great Britain's place in Europe on June 23rd! It is an opportunity to question those we elect to power and hold them to account for their decisions and actions. For more information find out how Scottish bishops urge Catholics to "influence society for the better" ; and read the Guidelines of the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops.

Social Justice and Poetry

Take a Labyrinth Walk. Kathleen O'Toole offers poetry that weaves together social justice issues and imagery of God's creation. Reflection questions are included for each poem to guide discussion and to explore the deeper meanings of the poems.
