Competition for a common logo for the entire Congregation
Xaverians from around the world are participating in creating, voting for and ultimately choosing a logo that will visually illustrate and define our congregation. St. Guido Conforti's motto, "Caritas Christi Urget Nos" (the Love of Christ Compels Us) must appear in all logos. Stay tuned to one of the June A-Cross Borders to find out the results.
The Shinmeizan Centre of Spirituality and Interreligious Dialogue
was founded in 1987 by Xaverian Missionary Fr. Franco Sottocornola with the cooperation of Ven. Tairyu Furukawa, founder of the Buddhist Temple Seimeizan, in Tamana, (Kumamoto) Japan, dedicated to the memory of Dr. Albert Schweitzer. Shinmeizan is in friendly contact with several Buddhist Temples, Shinto Shrines and other religious organizations. In our time, when day by day mankind is being drawn closer together, and the ties between different peoples are becoming stronger, the Church examines more closely he relationship to non-Christian religions. Scotland showing solidarity with Ecuador
Former missionary priest Fr Martin Chambers (above left), Missio Scotland's diocesan director for Galloway, has assured the people of Ecuador that Scots will endeavour to support them spiritually and financially after an earthquake measuring 7.8 magnitude. The Scottish Catholic International Aid Fund (SCIAF) is also monitoring the situation through the Caritas Internationalis network. Learn more.

Mission, Mercy, Ministry & Me
The Missionary Alliance of New England of which the Xaverian Missionaries at Holliston are members, invites Youth Ministers, RE Directors and Pastoral Associates who work with youth of the Archdiocese of Boston to a day together AS A WAY TO CELEBRATE THE YEAR OF MERCY. The event will be held at Our Lady of Fatima Shrine, 101 Summer Street Holliston MA 01746 on May 31st at 11:00 AM. Adoration, Community, Theology, Service On April 29th Fr. Alex Rodr�guez along with Deacon Mike Wolf gathered with ACTS to have a night of Eucharistic Adoration and to pray for vocations. It was an opportunity to present to teens the vocation to priesthood from the diocesan and religious/missionary perspectives. It was a great night filled with enthusiasm guided with the extraordinary music of Ben Wagner.

Pope Francis' Jubilee Mass for Teens
More than 70,000 teenagers from all over the world arrived in Rome on April 23 for a special three-day Jubilee event entitled 'Growing merciful as the Father,' The event kicked off with a pilgrimage to the Holy Door, followed by confessions which were heard by several priests and Pope Francis himself, in the colonnade of St Peter's Basilica.
