Defying gravity is one way to consider the image of the ascension of Jesus, rising above all that weighs us and the world around us down. As we inch toward Pentecost, we understand that we hold the very power Jesus wielded during his life: the power to unite, to heal the broken, to mend communities, to proclaim a hope stronger than death. The Church is here for one reason only: to change the world into the dream God has for us, all of humanity, the entire cosmos. May you always know Christ's strength and love that you carry within you, and may you give it away every chance you get.

Pray as you go is a daily prayer session, designed for use on portable MP3 players, to help you pray whenever you find time, but particularly whilst traveling to and from work, study, etc.
A new prayer session is produced every day of the working week and one session for the weekend. It is not a 'Thought for the Day', a sermon or a bible-study, but rather a framework for your own prayer.
