I am smiling because finally it is really spring. Farewell puffy bulky clothes. Hurray for pansies, daffodils, green grass, blossoming trees and my favorite food group ice cream.
History Lesson with Warren
Mr Severance
Meet Warren who may be the only baby born in the Wilburton Inn. His father was the Wilbur's chauffeur and his mother their chamber maid. Robert Todd Lincoln hired away the family to manage his estate Hildene. When his grand daughter Peggy inherited Hildene, she showed her appreciation to this family by buying them a property with hundreds of acres. Now that is GRATITUDE!
The Honkeytonkers
Couple
Here are Johnny and Angela, He writes and she sings honkeytonk. They were on tour,  singing through New England. They loved their stay with us. This year the Wilburton, next year the Grammys.
Coffee Break
Shower
My guys  are on coffee break in our new 5x5 giant shower. They have been working on this bathroom renovation for Room 28  for over a month. There is a line between historic and old and we want to be on the right side of that line. Everything in the bathroom is sparkling new. So come on in, there is plenty of room. Rub-a- dub.
3 Gals and One Face
Lady with Children
April is Schramm month at the Wilburton. Ten years ago, Grandma Schramm's extended family gathered  to celebrate her 90 birthday. Although she died, her family still come for their annual family reunion. These little girls so cute in pink are the next generation. It is our pleasure to watch them grow up and remember girls- We specialize in weddings and happy events.

Ron's thing
Same old, is old so we have expanded our menu to include spices and recipes from the Middle East which we combine,  as much as possible with local produce from Earth Sky Time Farm. Here is a platter with samples from our menu. A carrot puree with hot peppers is in the center of the platter. Behind the carrots is tzatziki with beets and dill. In front of the carrots is smoked eggplant babganosh. The little bowls in the front are a mix of nuts, raisins and fragrant spices.  Sorry no belly dancing.
